US Air Ambulance pilot charged with drunk flying

A former air ambulance helicopter pilot has been charged today in the US, for flying under the influence of alcohol whilst carrying a passenger. The incident occurred on March 21 2023. No air accident occurred and the inteded destination for the aircraft was the University of Kentucky Hospital, in Lexington.

The pilot has plead not guilty, with court documents showing that a plea agreement is potentially being negotiated.
