Turkish Airlines confirms order of 220 new Airbus aircraft

Turkish Airlines have approved an order of 220 new Airbus aircraft, both A321s and A350's, proving yet another win for Airbus.

The UK Prime Minister has commended this historic deal, as it proves very lucrative for the UK economy. Using Rolls Royce Trent XWB engines, the Airbus aircraft are set to be incredibly powerful and efficient. The aircraft's wings are assembled in North Wales, and with Rolls Royce being based in Derby, proves a huge win for the UK.

This deal solidifies Turkish Airline's expansion plans, proving their commitment to "fly to more than 90% of global megacities by 2033".
